Hi Everybody,

I'm Julie Caulfield. I work as a full time Freelance Make up Artist.I also model part time with Assets Model Agency. I live in Dublin and work in both the fashion and film industries. Currently, im just about to wrap on my first feature film called "Deathwaits" directed by Redmond Fitzpartick, son of iconic Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick. "Death waits" is a low budget phsycopathic thriller about a dying house, a dying father and a horrible family who cant wait to get rid of him. I cant give too much away but if you see it or spot the name somewhere believe me its well worth a look. Had such an amazing time making this movie, got to work with so many fantastic people in the cast and crew. We only have three days left on it, but had such a great time. I got to do such great make up work on it too, between dead bodies, compound fractures, maggots, gun shots...i even had to decompose a mouse one day....dont ask lets just say im magic! ;)

one of the days i was off the film i got a call from a photographer friend of mine Richie Buttle who i work with regularly to do a shoot for the current Miss Ireland 2011 Holly Carpenter. The Shoot was for her official Miss World Swimwear photos. Holly is an absolutely great girl and a pleasure to work with, so easy going and such a messer, the exact same as me, so we had a great shoot in the Wright venue in Swords. The shots got a two page spread in the Irish sun a few days later and they also used one of our images for the Official Miss World poster 2011, which i was delighted about as you can imagine.Also published this month was a great shot by photographer Kip Carroll in the Sunday life magazine of Compton Model Laura Redac. Also dotted throught the month are various 21sts and models portfolios with another Photographer Evan Doherty.I've included a few photos of work from over the month for you guys to see, hope you liked my first blog. For me its back to blood and guts next week (this makes me very happy) and hopefully ill have lots more news for you next month.
